King Push is back with another EQT Running Guidance '93
Last year, Pusha T joined his G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West at Adidas by crafting a collaborative sneaker of his own. But rather than start from scratch, King Push luxury-fied a classic running style, the EQT Running Guidance '93. With fish scale uppers in an off-white color (both nods at Pusha T's cocaine-dealing past), they were a runaway success.
This time around, Pusha transformed the same sneaker, this time doing it up in a sleek all-black colorway. The fish scales remain, but these kicks, dubbed the "Black Markets," are decidedly more sinister—and less stain prone—than last year's iteration. But where the black colorway really shines is in highlighting the premium materials used to make these sneakers worthy of a hip-hop superstar or just your average sneaker fan. Basically, even though they're based on a classic runner, these sneakers are much more high-fashion than performance.
